Invasives: An Ever Growing Problem with an Ever Shrinking Budget
This year's annual meeting will explore how land and natural resource managers, conservationists, and others are handling the ever growing problem of invasive species with ever shrinking budgets.
The annual meeting also covers a full range of invasive species, including aquatic and terrestrial plants, animals and pathogens that impact native species and threaten Delaware's natural resources, economy, an quality of life. Detailed agenda to come!
Join government agencies, academic institutions, non-profit organizations, community leaders and others in strengthening awareness of invasive species prevention and management through information sharing and collaboration at the meeting!
Registration opens at 8:30 am and the conference will kick off at 9:00 am. Lunch is included in registration fee.
Call for Abstracts!
Abstracts will be accepted through Friday, September 5, 2014
Interested presenters are invited to submit one or more abstracts for oral presentation or poster display. Conference planners are hoping for a broad selection of posters and a variety of topics. Topics can include (but are not limited to): ecology, impacts/distribution/prevention of Invasive Species; early detection/rapid response; Invasive Species control/management; and habitat restoration.
